Precision Wavemeter Frequency Comb

Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to extend response time to 15 July 2025, 3:00 pm MST and response to vendor's questions.

At a minimum, the Vendor must be able to supply a wavemeter frequency comb with the following characteristics:

• self-referenced optical frequency comb centered at 1560 nm, based on Er doped fiber laser


• expandable to four other laser frequency outputs (wavelength extensions) throughout visible and NIR


• comb spacing 100 or 200 MHz


• frequency stability at least (better than) two parts in 10^16


• capable of lock to external 10 MHz reference input


• capable of lock to heterodyne beatnote of an external laser


• phase lock servo offset up to 9 GHz


• 19 inch rack mounted unit


• water cooling not needed


• various fiber optics to send laser beams in and out


• computer control interface
