The awarded Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, subcontractors, accessories and all other items necessary or proper for, or incidental to, performing electrical and re-lamping services on an as needed basis at the Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive Airport in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Electrical services shall include but not limited to in-house maintenance of fixture lamps, ballasts, power supplies, conduit, wire, boxes, disconnects, devices, panels, breakers, transformers, controls, switchboards, and minor room finishes as needed to restore electrical work area.
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is operated and managed by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (the “Aviation Authority”). It is expected that more than fifty-five (55) million domestic and international passengers will travel through MCO during the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
As of September 2024, MCO is served by 38 commercial airlines and seven (7) cargo carriers.
It is important for the Contractor to note that the Airport environment presents the Contractor with a set of unique challenges which are not typical of any other environment.
