The purpose of this Addendum No. 2 is to revise the solicitation due date to August 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM CT.

07/23/2025: Addendum 1
The purpose of this Addendum No. 1 is to Revise the Solicitation Announcement, Request for Proposal, and Sample Contract and Exhibits documents. Please see the attachment expressed as, "M-601 Addendum 1."
PURPOSE. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is for the establishment of a Contract with a qualified system provider that can provide the State with maintenance, expansion, and repairs for security systems being used within the Capitol Complex.
Responders must be a factory-owned branch office of the manufacturer, Honeywell, and have at least 10 years of experience installing manufacturer’s product and have fully staffed project managers, system application engineers, application engineers and technicians. Branch office must have a separate fully staffed service department.
The Building Systems and Controls (BSAC) system consists of Honeywell XL5000, Comfort Point Open, and XLS3000 Systems with approximately 375 intercoms, 926 cameras, and 1262 card readers attached to satellite locations.

QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS. Any questions and/or clarifications in regard to the solicitation response shall be made in writing to Craig Fernholz, Acquisition Management Specialist, via email at craig.fernholz@state.mn.us by July 21, 2025, no later than 2:00 PM CT. If a Responder discovers any significant ambiguity, error, conflict, discrepancy, omission, or other deficiency in the RFP, they must immediately notify the Buyer in writing of such error and request modification or clarification of the document. Responders are not to contact anyone within any other State Agency regarding this solicitation. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the questions/clarifications due date and time.
