| Bid Synopsis: | The Wisconsin Department of Transportation requests bids for the purchase of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) data communication devices. These systems and devices are needed to establish and extend communications to ITS devices in the field including dynamic message signs, closed circuit television cameras, detector stations, ramp meters, traffic signals, portable changeable message signs and other devices operated and maintained by WisDOT. These systems and devices will be procured and utilized statewide by operations staff including Traffic Management Center (TMC) and regional engineers, electricians and technicians. The systems and devices procured under this contract must integrate with existing communications networks and traffic management systems operated by WisDOT. |
