The City of Compton is a charter city located in southern Los Angeles County, covering approximately 10.1 square miles and serving a population of roughly 93,000 residents. Compton’s location within a built-out urban area is bounded by major regional transportation corridors such as Interstates 105, 110, 710, and State Route 91. These travel routes, along with residential needs create travel patterns and parking demands typical of older, higher-density communities in Los Angeles County.

For general inquiries, please contact the Purchasing Officer, Cameron Redic at (310) 605-1439 or credic@comptoncity.org
