BATTERY POWERED PASSENGER FERRY BOAT, DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT,

CITY OF ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

The Central Purchasing Office of the City of Annapolis is accepting sealed proposals for the design, build and commissioning of a battery powered passenger ferryboat until 2:00 p.m., local time, Friday, September 20, 2024.  Bids shall be submitted to the Central Purchasing Office, 161 Duke of Gloucester Street, 1 ^st Floor, Annapolis, Maryland 21401.  Late Bids shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

The scope of work includes, the design, construction and commissioning of two (2) battery powered ferry passenger boats designed to facilitate up to a crew of two (2) operators and twelve (12) to fifteen (15) passengers. The proposed battery powered passenger ferryboat will not accommodate any motor propelled passenger cars or heavy utility vehicles.

Interested parties are invited to attend a virtual pre-Proposal meeting on Wednesday, August 21 ^st , 2024 at 2:00 p.m., local time, via Google Meet.

The City of Annapolis reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive informalities as deemed appropriate by the City, to award multiple contracts, and to select the Proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
