OCC Case360 Protypes

Background: On April 28, 2025, the President issued Executive Order 14288, ‘Strengthening and Unleashing America’s Law Enforcement to Pursue Criminals & Protect Innocent Citizens’, which required the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ) to increase the investment in the collection, distribution, and uniformity of crime data across jurisdictions. In light of this Executive Order and the success of the Pilot conducted under Task Order 15JPSS25F00000380 (Pilot [hereafter referred to as “Phase I”]), the Attorney General issued a mandatory directive requiring real-time caseload reporting and tracking metrics for the Department’s litigation efforts to be rolled out within 120 days. Both tracking and reporting are needed as soon as possible to inform critical workforce and work product decisions made by senior leadership. In the absence of an automated system, the Department will be left to manually gather and analyze Department data, which is an unacceptable alternative. As a result, the Justice Management Division (JMD), Procurement Services Staff (PSS), intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Task Order on a one-time, sole source basis to: Palantir USG, Inc. located at 635 Waverly Street, Palo Alto, CA 94301 for the purpose of advancing the Case360 prototype by expanding capabilities demonstrated in Phase I.
