Informational request

Red Deer Polytechnic
The purpose of this Request for Information (“RFI”) is to gain an understanding of the types of commercially available Test Bank Software.

Red Deer Polytechnic is currently investigating the possible transition to a new Learning Management System. Newer LMS platforms do not provide the functionality we require to set up test banks, create randomized tests, and administer tests in support of our apprenticeship programming. We are seeking a solution to create large multi-level test banks, used by multiple courses for building randomized tests. RDP sells these test banks to other training providers and the ability to support export or secure access to these test banks by others is essential.

The information collected through this RFI process will inform RDP’s decision to either remain with product(s) already in use, or to pursue budgetary approval to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new solution. The information received will assist RDP in defining its requirements. RDP has not yet defined any implementation timelines for a new test bank solution.
