Veterans Affairs, San Diego Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and Community Living Center (CLC) Hospital has a requirement for Disposable/Recyclable Exam Room (Cubicle) Curtains (280 each) and Curtain Rods (1,300 each). The curtain rods shall have the capability to allow one person to efficiently connect the curtains to the curtain rods and then attach the curtain rod to the VA provided curtain tracks (hence, a one-person task). The curtain dimensions are 112 inches in width by 66 inches in height. The curtains require Near Field Communication (NFC) tags embedded in each curtain, including the NFC software to manage the lifecycle of each curtain. A site visit/survey to determine the exact length of curtain rods needed, implementation and training of the NFC tag software, delivery and installation are part of the requirement. Installation includes the setup of the curtains, curtain rods, and the NFC Tag software. There are 130 install locations located within VA San Diego SCI-CLC hospital . The curtain tracks are already installed at each location.
