WATER QUALITY & WETLAND MANAGEMENT PLAN. The City of Eagan is seeking proposals from qualified environmental consulting professionals to update its 2018-2027 Water Quality and Wetland Management Plan (WQWMP). The purpose of the WQWMP is to outline the goals, policies, and actions the City will pursue to protect, improve, and restore the surface water resources within its jurisdiction from 2028-2037. Eagan contains more than 1,000 lakes, ponds, and wetlands. These water resources are an asset to the community, defining its character and helping to make it a desirable place to live, work, and visit. Implementation during the 2018-2027 period saw notable improvements in water quality across the City, including the removal of multiple nutrient-impaired waterbodies from the State of Minnesota’s 303(d) list of impaired waters. Contact Jenna Olson, Water Resources Manager at jenna.olson@eaganmn.gov with questions. Submissions are due Oct. 31, 2025.
