The date of availability for this project is July 1, 2026.
The completion date for this project is June 20, 2027.
There is NO MBE/WBE Goal for this project.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for installation & maintenance of type
A, B, D, E & F signs, overlay signs & associated signing work as needed divisionwide. All quantities are
estimates. The Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment and materials.
Contractor's bidding this NCDOT contract will not be required to sign up for the Interested Parties
List to submit a bid.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil
Rights of 1964 (78 Stat. 252) and the Regulations of the Department of Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21),
issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that the contract entered
into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the
grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin.
BID OPENING
Bids must be received at the NCDOT Division 7 Office, 1584 Yanceyville Street, Greensboro, NC 27405, by
2:00 p.m. on May 26, 2026. Bids will be opened and publicly read at the NCDOT Division 7 Office, at the
above date, shortly after the time that the bid submissions are due. The As-Read Bid Summaries will be posted

within 48 hours of the bid opening. Results will not be provided by any other means than posting to the
website.
The public letting will be held via conference call. You may join the conference call just prior to 2:00 pm
on 5/26/26. Please dial (919) 250-7881, announce name and company name when prompted.
THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE BID ELECTRONICALLY.

The contract proposal, plans and supplemental project information are available online at:

The printing of all bid-related documents, including the proposal, plans and any supplemental project
information shall be the responsibility of the bidder. Division 7 no longer provides hard copies of bid
documents.
PREQUALIFYING TO BID
All prospective bidders shall be prequalified with the Department of Transportation prior to submitting a bid.
Contractors who are not prequalified may obtain information and forms for prequalifying from the Contractual
Services Unit, Division of Highways, Department of Transportation, 1509 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC.
All required prequalification statements and documents shall be filed with the Contractual Services Unit at
least four weeks prior to the date of opening bids.
