The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide professional facilitation services during an upcoming retreat for the Board of Directors of the Regional Transportation District which will include the agency’s General Manager and CEO (GM/CEO), General Counsel, Board Office Executive Manager, and could include additional key agency staff. During the retreat, the contractor will lead a robust, engaged, and earnest discussion that may reveal multifaceted and nuanced viewpoints; the contractor’s role will be to deftly and tactfully facilitate the conversation to promote productive dialogue and to identify clear, actionable outcomes as well as next-steps.
RTD will award one single purchase order from this RFQ.
The Board of Directors consists of 15 elected officials representing a total District population of over 3 million, with each Director representing a district of approximately 220,000 people, based on estimated population growth since the 2020 census. The Board of Directors governs agency policy and provides agency oversight. Directors are elected for four-year terms and are eligible to be elected to up to two consecutive terms. Eight of the 15 Board seats were up for election in the November 2024 General Election and seven new Directors were elected; the remaining seven seats will be subject to election in November 2026.
