The AZ Motor/Brake Assembly consists of (brake pre-wiring, clamp collar and motor installation) which must be fully tested after assembly to guarantee it meets specification requirements.
The motor/brake assembly consists of a motor (HP: 55, RPM 3600 with tach, high inertia) and a brake (125 ft-lb, 120 VAC, 50Hz, 256TC, VERT Above). The Brake Assembly Modification (P/N 53983-12-4600-01) is required prior to field installation for the GLOBUS X-Band Subsystem and is proprietary.
