GRANULAR DEICER PRODUCTS FOR ICE CONTROL
CENTRAL IOWA SALT GROUP (CISG)

Sealed bids will be received by the City of West Des Moines, Iowa, as the representative for the CISG, on or before 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, for the following:
Bid Item: Approximately 24,780 Tons of Granular Deicer Product
Bidder shall submit their bids in a sealed envelope, plainly marked “Granular Deicer Bids” and be delivered to:

Unit price shall be final and the CISG reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids on a per unit basis and waive irregularities and technicalities as determined to be the best interest of the CISG. Factors other than price will be considered in determining the bid award.
Due to the scope of this bid and the large quantity of salt being contracted, bidders are not required to enter pricing for all sections/agencies on this contract. A contract/contracts will be awarded based on unit pricing and other applicable criteria. The CISG may elect to award a multiple-vendor contract.
