REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) NOTICE
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
The City of Rio Grande City, is requesting sealed proposals from a qualified paving contractor to
provide construction services for a street improvements project for overlay and street repairs. The
sealed proposals will be received until 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2026 and must be clearly
identified and addressed for delivery to:

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding
process in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code Chapter 252. Bids may be held by
the City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of
reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders' qualifications prior to the contract award.
