Seeking Manufacturing Sources for Footlocker NSN 8145-01-516-5386

This is a request for information only. DLA Troop Support is seeking information in anticipation of soliciting for National Stock Number (NSN) 8145-01-516-5386, Shipping and Storage Container, Miscellaneous. This item is also known as a footlocker.

This footlocker has a length of 33.28 inches, width of 17.53 inches and height of 16.67 inches. The footlocker also has the following features:

• Medium density rotationally molded polyethylene green color shell with two removable black color trays

• Outside shell has 3 black steel latches, 3 black steel hinges, (2x) 3-hole black steel carry handles, (2x) 70mm edge casters, and 1 locking hasp

• Removable trays are length 13.72 inches and width 13.56 inches

• Must be able to use for secure material storage and transport, as it’s manufactured from a medium-density polyethylene and features two heavy-duty wheels and soft-grip handles.

The Government does not own the rights to the drawings or specifications for this item.

DLA is considering a long-term contract for this item with delivery locations in Tracy, California and New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. This potential long-term contract would be a 5 year contract.

1) Provide F.O.B. origin and F.O.B. destination pricing for Tracy, CA and New Cumberland, PA. Please include quantity price breaks.

2) Provide your estimated delivery lead time for this item. Include delivery lead times for all quantity price breaks provided.

3) Describe your manufacturing capabilities and/or sources. Please include the name and address of any manufacturing source and a point of contact.

4) Confirm whether any portion of the manufacturing process will be subcontracted. If so, advise whether all subcontractors have a valid CAGE code.

5) Please detail any manufacturing quality controls you have in place.

6) Confirm the country of origin for all materials used for manufacturing.

7) Confirm whether your product is compliant with DFARS 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities (the Berry Amendment)

This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. DLA is seeking sources of supply for the above-referenced NSNs. The sources sought information is issued for the purpose of market research only and the Government is not obligated to purchase any materials as a result of this inquiry. Any resultant solicitation will be synopsized on FEDBIZOPPS website or DIBBs website.

NOTE: We are still determining the set-aside designation to apply for this specific requirement.
