Description
The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW 13.106(b) to obtain Greenlight Laser Services.

Period of performance:
10/15/2025-9/30/2026 (Base period)

10/1/2026-9/30/2027 (Option 1)

10/1/2027-9/30/2028 (Option 2)

10/1/2028-9/30/2029 (Option 3)

Basic description of the requirement:

This action is a new requirement and requires the purchase of base year and 3 option years to provide preventive maintenance and support services to properly maintain Greenlight Laser XPS at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center.

1) UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE:
A. The contractor shall maintain the equipment in accordance with the Conformance Standards Section, by furnishing all necessary labor, management, equipment, tools, materials, repair service, tools, instruments, software and hardware updates and parts for service (excluding consumables) in accordance with the terms, conditions and schedule of this agreement. The contractor will provide repair service which may consist of calibration, cleaning, oiling, adjusting, replacing parts, and maintaining the equipment, including all intervening calls necessary between regular services and calibrations.
2) SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE:
Scheduled downtime is defined as the time the Greenlight Laser is placed out of service for the purpose of accomplishing scheduled upgrades and/or preventive maintenance to be performed which would necessitate the shutdown of the Greenlight Laser for a predetermined length of time, approved by the COR. All equipment shall be maintained in a satisfactory and safe operating condition in accordance with the requirements of these specifications, capable of always providing their initial maximum capacity and performance.
3) REPAIR PARTS
The contractor shall use Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) new parts only. All parts supplied shall be compatible with the existing equipment. New parts shall be furnished by the contractor and guaranteed against defects and/or failure for a period of 1 year minimum from the date of completed installation of the component.
All work shall be in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Boston Scientific standards. Boston Scientific does not authorize any entity to perform services on Boston Scientific Greenlight Lasers. All services are to be done as per OEM proprietary instructions. Allowing anyone other than the OEM to provide the required services is not permitted.
