Wastewater Sludge Hauling and Disposal Services

The City of Amesbury invites sealed bids for wastewater sludge hauling and disposal services pursuant to MGL Ch 30B. Bid documents are available at the bottom of this page as a related document.

Bids must be submitted by no later than 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 to the Office of Administration and Finance, 1 Market Street, Office 215, Amesbury, MA 01913, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids may be submitted via mail or in-person delivery only. Any bids submitted by email, fax, or any other method will not be accepted. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened regardless of the reason for lateness. Bidders assume the risk of delays in the mail or in the handling of the mail by City employees.

Please note that City Hall will be closed on May 25, 2026 for the Memorial Day holiday.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, waive any minor informality, or take whatever action is determined to be in the best interest of the City.
