NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Clinton, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids until the hour

of 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026 at the office of the City of Clinton located at 530

Brighton Park, Clinton, MS 39056 for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and for performing all

activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the construction of the Highway 80 Sewer Relocations.

The project includes the relocation of gravity sewer at two (2) locations along the north side of

Highway 80 The Contract Time will be sixty (60) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages

will be $200 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.

Plans, contract documents and proposal forms are on file for public inspection in the office of the

City of Clinton, 530 Brighton Park, Clinton, MS 39056, and in the office of the Engineer, WGK, Inc., 2024

West Leake St, Clinton, MS 39056 (601-925-4444). All documents required for bidding purposes,

including specifications and plans, may be viewed for free at www.wgkengineersprojects.com. Documents

may be downloaded for a non-refundable charge of $75. Hard Copies are also available for ordering online

for a non-refundable fee. For questions regarding the website or online orders contact Plan House at 662-

407-0193 or admin@phbidding.com. Online bidding will only be accepted through use of the

www.wgkengineersprojects.com website.

Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom the Contract

Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom

the Contract Documents were not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened.

State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident state’s current

law pertaining to such state’s treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by

a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor’s current state law shall be

rejected and not considered for award.

All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the hour of 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday,

January 13th, 2026 at the office of the City of Clinton located at 530 Brighton Park, Clinton, MS 39056.

Bids will be considered by the City of Clinton at or before the next regular meeting thereof to be held within

thirty (30) days of the date of receipt of bids.

The City of Clinton reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject

any and all bids.
