ESTC Fire Training Equipment Storage Building
Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 PM on June 9, 2026, in Rockingham Community College's
Administration Building - Gwyn Boardroom, 215 Wrenn Memorial Road, Wentworth, NC 27375 located
on the main campus of Rockingham Community College. At that time and place bids will be opened
and read aloud for furnishing of labor, material, and equipment to conduct site improvements to
address clearing and grading of building pad for 60' x 60' pre-engineered building. Construction of slab
on grade concrete pad, setting anchor bolts and to coordinate with Cirrus Construction, Inc. for the
erection of the pre-engineered building. The scope of work will also include interior upfit of the pre-
engineered building to address installation of the mechanical ventilation system and unit heaters,
placement of three overhead coiling doors, electrical power and overhead lighting. All work is to be per
the project drawings and specifications.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on May 12, 2026, at the ESTC Classroom
Building located at 222 NC-65, Wentworth, NC 27375 (entrance to the Fire Training Center located
between the NC National Guard and Rockingham County Judicial Center). Tours of the site will take
place following the meeting

Rockingham Community College Board solicits 10% MBE/WBE participation as set forth in the notice to
bidders of the contract documents and reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals and
waiver informalities in bidding.
