GMAHL- Beaver Drive Sanitary Sewer Project

Project Description: The General Municipal Authority of Harveys Lake is requesting Bids for the BEAVER DRIVE SANITARY SEWER REPAIR PROJECT, generally consisting of installing cleanouts on sewer laterals, CCTV inspection of said sewer laterals, repair of lateral defects, and repair of an 8” gravity sewer main. Sealed Bids shall be submitted electronically via the PennBid Program website https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com, until 12:00 pm (local time) on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at which time they will be electronically publicly opened at the General Municipal Authority of Harveys Lake office, 4875 Memorial Hwy, Suite 102, Harveys Lake, PA 18618. Bids shall be made available for public viewing immediately upon opening on PennBid. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project are available at no cost through the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the PennBid Program. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis with bid alternates as indicated in the Bid Form. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of Bidder’s maximum Bid price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, and include all forms, qualification statements, affidavits and certifications, as more particularly listed in the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price. This Project is financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. Bidder(s) attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum wages and salaries in accordance with provisions of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 and contained in the Contract Documents, must be paid throughout the duration of this project. The General Municipal Authority of Harveys Lake reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by Owner for a period of not to exceed sixty days (60) from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of a Contract. A virtual Pre-Bid meeting will be held for this project at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory.
