25-010-0 Ship-To-Shore Container Handling Gantry Cranes Purchase and Installation

Project Description: The Philadelphia Regional Port Authority (“PhilaPort”) seeks to obtain proposals for the purchase and installation of two (2) Ship-to-Shore Container Handling Gantry Cranes (“Cranes”). The Cranes are being purchased by PhilaPort and will be placed into service at PhilaPort’s Terminal located at the Tioga Marine Terminal in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and operated by the Delaware River Stevedores (“DRS” or “Tenant”). The Cranes shall be custom designed for this Project with particular emphasis on performance, reliability, maintainability, and safety. The technical specifications for the Cranes included in Part III of this RFP (the “Specifications”) provide the basis for the engineering, design, fabrication, assembly, erection, transportation, testing, and commissioning of the Cranes. The Contractor shall supply the two Cranes in accordance with these Specifications according to the contract schedule set forth in the Specifications. PhilaPort reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award a contract for a single Crane if it is determined to be in PhilaPort’s best interest.
