The 176 Wing requires procurement of the Baringa 5.5 Kit (3), a ruggedized ultraviolet (UV) test set designed to simulate missile engagement scenarios and validate aircraft missile warning systems during pre-mission checks and sustainment testing. This equipment provides field commanders and maintenance personnel with the ability to perform flight-line confidence testing and laboratory system evaluation to ensure operational readiness of critical defensive systems
