Road Resurfacing Project 2026 - #25X.141001.000

BID OPENING DATE: Wednesday, 12/3/3035 at 10:00 AM

The bid for the above-referenced project was publicly opened on December 3rd,

2025 at 10:00 AM. Present was John Adair, Director of Public Works, Bailey

Evans (Bolton & Menk), Dylan Powell (Coastal Asphalt) and Steve Starbuck (King

Asphalt).

Director Adair gave last call at 10:00 AM, and announced that three bids were

received. They are lump sum bids for the completed project scope.

Bid #1 – Palmetto Corp, Conway SC

$608,260.06

Bid #2 – King Asphalt, Conway SC

$639,912.50

Bid #3 – Coastal Asphalt, Conway SC

$597,425.55

Director Adair advised all present that the bids would be examined for

adherence to specifications, and that the town reserved the right to accept or

reject any bid in the best interests of the town. The bidders were thanked for

their participation, and the bid was declared closed at 10:05 AM.
