Description
** This bid solicitation is a re-tender of the requirement described in bid solicitation number WS5348488750 dated 2026-01-16 with a bid closing date of 2026-02-17; this document replaces the previous version entirely. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders under EN578-170432 who qualified under Tier 2, Remote/Virtual Access Metropolitan area, level of expertise and for the following category(ies):
A.6 Programmer / Software Developer – Intermediate
The Contractor must provide Level 2 Software Developers (Resources), in accordance with the Task Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Supply Arrangement Stream 1.6: Programmer/Software Developer. The Resources will develop software applications in a team environment that meet performance, scalability, architectural, quality and business requirements, as directed by the Technical Authority.
The Base Information Services (BIS) contributes to operational capabilities and provides Information Management/lnformation Technology (IM/IT) systems, services, support and people to Maritime and Canadian Forces operations. BIS provides operational IT support to classified networks, essential IT services required to meet Operational Imperatives and all IT support to deploying ships. BIS RACD Application Development section is a software development team that specializes in developing RCN Application and Cloud Development (RACD). The BIS RACD section requires experienced software developers to assist with various software development web projects.
