Requests for Proposals Project No RR001

The Education Cooperative is soliciting proposals for the construction of two classrooms from an existing single classroom

Carpentry work for renovations to existing classroom at 111 Robbins Road Walpole, MA 02081.

Scope of work consists of renovations to a classroom space to buildout two classrooms with two breakout rooms. This includes carpentry work for the installation of new partition wall to divide the space into two classrooms. The structural framing of the two classrooms and construction of new walls door frames and installation of classroom doors.

The hired vendor will furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals required to perform the work.

All work will be completed based on architectural drawings and requirements provided by The Education Cooperative.

All vendors submitting proposals are required to have reviewed the existing building conditions prior to submitting their proposal.

Wall construction to be installed using soundproof drywall gypsum board double layer insulation or equivalent material for soundproofing.

All work and material is to be provided by the awarded bidder.

Work must be completed by June 30 2025.

The work is estimated to cost 15000 to 30000. The work is subject to M.G.L. c. 149.
The work is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries Pursuant to the Provisions of Chapter 149 Sections 26 to 27D inclusive.

Specifications will be available from the awarding agency Wednesday February 12 2025 at The Education Cooperative 141 Mansion Dr. East Walpole MA.

All proposals must be submitted in writing by March 5 2025 at 141 Mansion Drive Suite 200 and include
