NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Township of Denville, County of Morris, State of New Jersey (the "Township"), is soliciting
sealed bids for general maintenance and repair contracting services covering carpentry, drywall,
painting, curbing, and sidewalk work at Township-owned facilities and public rights-of-way, on
an as-needed, when-needed basis. This contract is intended for routine small-job maintenance
and repair work. New construction and large capital projects will be separately bid.
Sealed bids will be received by the Township Purchasing Agent until 11:00a.m. on
August 19,2026 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud:

Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C.
17:27, and any amendments thereto, regarding Affirmative Action. The successful bidder, upon
notification of the Township's intent to award a contract to said bidder, must supply the
Township with one of the following Affirmative Action documents:
1. A photocopy of the bidder's current Federal Affirmative Action Plan Approval
Letter; or
2. A photocopy of the bidder's current Certificate of Employee Information Report
issued in accordance with N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq.; or
3. The Township's copy of the bidder's completed Initial Employee Report, Form
AA-302, as submitted to the Division of Contract Compliance and EEO in Public Contracts.
Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "BID - GENERAL
MAINTENANCE & REPAIR CONTRACTING - DO NOT OPEN." The envelope shall also bear
the bidder's name and return address.
All questions must be submitted in writing to the Township Purchasing Agent no later than eight
(8) business days prior to bid opening:

Substantive responses will be issued by written addendum to all known plan-holders. No verbal
response shall be binding upon the Township.
The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award or not
award a contract, all in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.
