The U.S. Embassy Windhoek hereby provides the following Pre-solicitation Notice in respect of the issuance of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for:
Remote Generator Fuel Monitoring and Control System. The Embassy of the United States of America, in Windhoek Namibia requires the services of a qualified Contractor to design, supply, install, and commission a remote generator fuel monitoring system capable of providing real-time fuel level data, historical usage reports, and remote control functionalities.
Project Overview:
The purpose of this project is to design, supply, install, and commission a remote generator fuel monitoring system capable of providing real-time fuel level data, historical usage reports, and remote-control functionalities. The system will enable remote access and management via a web-based or cloud-enabled dashboard and mobile application, enhancing operational efficiency and fuel theft prevention.
1. Objectives:
• Provide real-time monitoring of fuel levels in remote generators.
• Enable remote access and control of the fuel monitoring system.
• Log historical data for fuel usage, refueling, and consumption trends.
• Implement alerting mechanisms for low fuel levels, potential theft, or leaks.
• Ensure secure data transmission and access.
All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
