1. Purpose

Granville Health System is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to qualified mechanical contractors, boiler system specialists, and engineering firms regarding the replacement of the existing Deaerator (DA) tank system serving the hospital’s central energy plant.

Objectives of this RFI include:

• Coordinate on-site vendor assessments with GHS representatives

• Obtain engineering recommendations for replacement of the existing DA tank system

• Understand installation requirements, phasing impacts, and operational considerations

• Gather budgetary pricing to support immediate replacement.

2. Project Scope

Granville Health System intends to replace the existing DA tank, including evaluation and coordination with the current boiler plant.

Scope may include:

• Replacement of existing Deaerator (DA) tank

• Evaluation and replacement of feedwater pumps (if required)

• Associated piping, valves, and controls

• Integration with existing boiler systems (two main boilers)

• Electrical and control system upgrades (as needed)

• Structural support, pad, or rigging considerations

• Insulation and system commissioning

The DA Tank currently supports a closed-loop boiler feedwater system serving the hospital campus and returning to the central energy plant.
