Purpose: This Sources Sought Notice helps the Government identify potential sources for the upcoming construction project.
Project Information: The Government seeks information from qualified and experienced Contractors capable of completing projects similar in scope and magnitude to the project description below. Contractors must demonstrate the ability to obtain the necessary project bonding.
Magnitude of Projects: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
Location: Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, in support of 718th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES).
Anticipated Solicitation Period(s): MAY 2025 to JUL 2025.
Note: Anticipated contract will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful Offeror must be licensed and registered to perform work in the country of Japan.
This notice is posted in accordance with FAR Part 5.2 and 36.213-2.
In accordance with FAR Part 4.1102 and DFARS 204.1103, Procedures, System for Award Management (SAM), Contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov.
REPAIR RUNWAY 05R/23L AND TAXIWAY F
Provide full depth replacement of sections on Runway 05R/23L and sections on Taxiway F, to include base course and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) slab. Project also includes pavement markings, grooving as required for runway sections, sediment and erosion control, and any ancillary work required to properly repair this pavement. Sustainable principles, to include life cycle cost-effective practices, will be integrated into the design, development, and construction of the project in accordance with UFC 1-200-02.
Submission Information: Please submit a brief capabilities statement (no more than 2 pages) outlining your firm's experience with similar projects, relevant bonding capacity, and any other information demonstrating your ability to meet the project requirements.
