Sealed Bids for Contracts 2026 North Elm Street Intersection Improvements will be received by the Northampton Department of Public Works at their office at 125 Locust Street, Northampton, MA until 2:00 PM on February 11, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bid Documents will be available beginning January 21, 2026 by contacting

MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as Traffic Signals for the project with an estimated value of $1,667,363.84 will be required. Project includes prevailing wage rates. Bid deposit and Payment & Performance bonds are required. This is a City and Federal funded project. The City of Northampton reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
