RFP El Jebel Intersection - Contractor

Engineering – The Eagle County Engineering Department is soliciting proposals for contractors to perform the construction of the El Jebel intersection realignment in the El Jebel area of Eagle County, Colorado.

Major Work items to include but are not limited to:

• Excavation
• Grading
• Traffic Control
• Erosion Control
• Removal of existing pavement & curb & gutter
• Removal of existing storm sewer
• Roadway work including subgrade, HMA paving, and curb & gutter
• Sidewalk installation
• Lighting installation
• Construction surveying
• Storm Sewer installation
• Utility relocations
• Signage
• Pavement marking
• Landscaping
• Ancillary earthwork
• Clean-up and demobilization

Construction is anticipated to last 7 months. April 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held virtually and in person on

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2025 beginning at 1:00 P.M. MDST in the Holy Cross Room of the Eagle County Building, 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado, 81631. Bids will be accepted only from pre-qualified bidders who attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

Proposals must be received by U.S. mail to the Eagle County Engineering Department, P.O. Box 850, Eagle, CO 81631 or by FedEx, UPS, DHL, or hand delivered to the Eagle County Engineering Department at 500 Broadway, Eagle, CO 81631 or emailed to myself at richard.davies@eaglecounty.us on or before 4:00 p.m., MDT, MONDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2025. Any proposal received after this time will not be considered and will be returned to the respondent unopened unless good cause is shown as determined by Eagle County in its sole discretion.
