Description
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) provides performance-based incentives for the installation by Contractors of new grid-connected electric photovoltaic (PV) systems that are ranging from 750kW to 7.5MW in Upstate region. Incentives for residential sites in all regions, nonresidential sites 750kW or less in Upstate and PSEG Long Island regions, and nonresidential sites 7.5MW or less in Con Ed region are available through the NY-Sun Residential/ Nonresidential Program (PON 2112). Funding for the NY-Sun Incentive Program (“Program”) has been allocated by the New York State Clean Energy Fund (CEF) and Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) and the Order Authorizing the Clean Energy Fund Framework, dated January 21, 2016. Incentives will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through December 29, 2023, or until funds are fully committed, whichever comes first. Incentives available are subject to change.
