NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bids will be accepted by the Licking County Commissioners until September 15, 2026 at 1:00pm
and opened at that time, at the Donald D. Hill Licking County Administration Building, 20 South Second
St., 4th Floor, Commissioners' Office, Newark, Ohio for the following: "COMMERICAL FLOOR
REPLACEMENT FOR LICKING COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER"
Bid form and specifications may be obtained in the Office of the Licking County Commissioners or on
the county's website at www.lickingcounty.gov posted under Bids/Contracts
Pre-Bid Inspection of proposed flooring facilities will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at
9:00am. Please meet in the lobby of the Licking County Justice Center 155 E. Main St., Newark, Ohio
43055 to review the specifications, answer questions and tour the facilities needing floor replacement.
Sealed bids must be addressed to the Board of Licking County Commissioners, 20 South Second Street,
Newark, OH, 43055, and endorsed on the outside of the envelope as follows: "COMMERCIAL
FLOOR REPLACEMENT IN YEAR 2026 FOR LICKING COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER"
All bids submitted shall meet the bond requirements of Section 153.54 and 307.88 of the Ohio Revised
Code.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept the lowest and best BID. If, in the opinion of
the Board, the acceptance of the lowest BID is not in the best interest of all concerned, the Board may
accept another proposal so opened or reject all proposals and re-advertise. The Board reserves the right to
waive any informalities or irregularities in the BID's received.
If obtaining Bid from website, a bidder receipt must be submitted to the Licking County Commissioners
Office to enable the County to send updates or corrections to the bid documents. This notice is also being
posted under BIDS/CONTRACTS items of the Licking County Website, www.lickingcounty.gov.
