IFB 54A0125 Insurance Risk Management Consultant Services

Consultant shall receive, review, approve, monitor, store, and secure insurance documents for all construction contracts. Upon request, Consultant will pre-approve and issue a pre-approved insurance certificate in accordance with Caltrans' Standard Specifications. Services will be performed at Consultant's location. This work requires specialist with broad knowledge and experience in construction liability insurance to review and approve large volumes of insurance documents in a timely manner to avoid delays in contract approval by Office Engineer. Division of Construction's staff is not equipped to perform this work and needs to contract out for these services. the scope of work performed in this contract will ensure that Caltrans is guaranteed the appropriate insurance coverage for construction contracts.
