The Harrison County Board of Supervisors, Gulfport, Mississippi, will receive sealed or electronic bids for the following Project:

First Judicial District Courthouse

2nd Floor Circuit Courtrooms Renovation

at the Board of Supervisors Conference Room, First Judicial Courthouse, 1801 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, Mississippi,
on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. CDT , and then publicly opened and read.

Plans and specifications are being made available via Digital Copy only. Hard copies can be purchased by bidders at their own expense. Bid Documents can be viewed and obtained at www.harrisoncountybids.com . Bid deposits in the amount of $375.00 per set for documents are nonrefundable and must be purchased through the website. No partial sets of drawings of project manuals will be issued.

Proposal shall be submitted on Bid Forms provided with the specifications. Bids may be submitted in person or, for those interested, bids can be electronically submitted at www harrisoncountybids.com under the project name. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals will be considered. The current Certificate of Responsibility Number of the bidder shall appear on the outside of each sealed envelope containing a proposal, said envelope being addressed to Chancery Clerk, Harrison County, Mississippi, 1801 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, Mississippi 39501 and plainly marked "PROPOSAL FOR — Harrison County First Judicial District Courthouse 2nd Floor Circuit Courtrooms Renovation" Sealed submittals must be delivered on or before Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond/security deposit or certified check in an amount equal to 5% of the bid, payable to Harrison County, Mississippi as bid security.

A Payment and Performance Bond and Builders Risk Insurance in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder.

The Contract will be awarded to the lowest, best and acceptable bidder, except that Harrison County, Mississippi reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any and all bids. A pre-bid meeting has been set for August 11 , 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Conference Room, First Judicial Courthouse, 1801 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, Mississippi 39501.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all submissions and to waive informalities. Submissions may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of submittal for the purpose of reviewing and investigating the proposals of Firms, prior to awarding of the Contract.
