Summary:

Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from experienced civil contracting firms, to perform construction services for the City’s Juniper Drive Storm Outfall Project (the ‘Project’), that focuses on the construction of a storm outfall in the vicinity of 1838 Juniper Drive, Merritt, as shown on the Contract Drawings.  Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP.

Contract Time: The City of providing Respondents with a flexible in which to perform the Work, with the following key milestone date requirements:
  • The Work may commence anytime on or after: November 25 th 2025
  • Substantial Performance of the Work: must be achieved no later than April 30 th 2026        Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than 20 calendar days following Substantial Performance.Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP. To review the RFP documents, ask a question and submit a bid, please visit the City of Merritt's Purchasing Agent's Bids and Tenders bidding platform and register free as a vendor:
