Description

The City of Prince Rupert has been working with an architect, landscape architect, graphic
designer and interpretive researcher to engage with the local and ex-pat Japanese
Canadian community on the development of the Japanese Canadian memorial project as
well as the removal and redevelopment of the Fisherman’s memorial walls to those lost at
sea and those who loved the sea in Mariners Park. These designs are now complete,
inclusive of landscaping, hardscaping, interpretive elements, lighting installation and
signage, which forms the IFT package.
