University of Alberta
Purchase of a quadrupole mass spectrometer for H2, including Software and interface kit from Bruker AXS LLC. This is a Thermal Desorption Mass Spectrometry (TDMS) system that will be integrated with an existing Bruker G4 Phoenix diffusible hydrogen analyzer (G4-DHA).

The TDMS system includes a custom adapter kit with a specialized gas interface designed specifically to couple with the G4-DHA. No other vendor can provide a system that ensures full integration, optimal performance, and manufacturer-supported compatibility with our existing instrumentation. Procuring the TDMS from an alternative supplier would risk incompatibility, invalidate existing warranties, and potentially compromise data quality and system functionality. The TDMS system is a proprietary component sold exclusively by Bruker AXS LLC, the original equipment manufacturer.
