Solicitation Description:

WMATA currently has approximately 500 Backflow Prevention Devices located in various WMATA facilities throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia. The Contractor shall inspect and test all Backflow Prevention Devices upon receipt of a job request from the COTR or other designated authorized ordering officer. All devices will be inspected and tested on an annual basis. The devices will inspected and tested according to manufacturer instructions, while adhering to all applicable codes. The Contractor will be responsible for the repair or replacement of all failed devices. The contract will have a two (2) year base period, with three (3) optional one (1) year renewal periods.
