Request for Proposals for Cafe' Operations at 75 Calhoun Street

Charleston County School District is seeking Proposals for Request for Proposals for Cafe' Operations at 75 Calhoun Street . Proposals are to be submitted through the Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ccsd , no later than 2:00 pm on Monday, July 21, 2025 .

The Cafe is established to provide 75 Calhoun CCSD employees and guests a convenient place to get a good coffee, snack or light lunch during a busy day. There are also other School District and local government facilities in the immediate area which have the potential to be additional customers for the Café. The building is not open to the general public. There is an attached parking garage for 75 Calhoun.

The contractor will operate the Café located on the 3 ^rd floor of 75 Calhoun from 7:00 AM -2:00 PM, Mon through Friday, excluding all CCSD holidays and closings. The building population is approx. 350 employees. Additionally, the CCSD facilitates multiple large and small group meetings and events throughout the month, where catering services would likely be desired. The Café is situated in the employee breakroom with large windows for natural light. The Café is smartly located between the employee gym and the central meeting/event space to encourage additional customer flow.
