Project Description: The project includes the construction of Shannon Creek Park located at 1624 Stillwater Drive, Burleson, TX 76028. This centrally located 14.86-acre site is part of the City’s park system and is designed to enhance connectivity between multiple trails, parks, and open spaces. The project involves the development of currently undeveloped land into a nature park. Planned improvements include the construction of a fishing pond, pier, boardwalk, natural surface trails, paved walkways, wildflower areas, native tree plantings, site furnishings, and other associated landscape enhancements. The design also incorporates drainage solutions to address storm water management needs in the area. The park will serve as a key linkage within the broader Burleson parks and trails network, supporting both recreational use and environmental stewardship.
