This instrument is used in the Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps JROTC navigation sections of the Naval Science courses. This instrument was previously adopted for use by the Naval Service Training Command NSTC Citizen Development CD Curriculum Manager and the Curriculum Advisory Board to use per navigation lessons in the Naval Science courses. This instrument must be purchased for use in the NJROTC Navy National Defense Cadet Corps NNDCC classrooms. No other instrument can be substituted.
