Location of Site Meeting: 9819 107th Ave, Fort St. John, BC
Given the project location, we advise interested proponents make the necessary travel arrangements as soon as possible for the mandatory site visit on March 3, at 1 p.m.
Please note that Fort St. John is in a different time zone (GMT-7), which is one hour ahead of Vancouver time.
Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.
All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the RFQ Contact person prior to the date and time as per the Timetable.
Brief Description of Work
Heritage Manor 1
Heritage Manor 1 is a three-storey wood-framed building built in 2002. This senior housing building consists of 35 one and two-bedroom units.
Heritage Manor 2
Heritage Manor 2 is a three-storey wood-framed building built in 2007. This building is operated as a care facility and consists of 24 one-bedroom units.
The scope of work for both buildings is, but not limited to:
1. Install Heat Pump coil for the AHUs
2. Install Air Source Heat Pump for DHW
a. Consultant to install an ultrasonic flow meter to monitor hot water demand to right size equipment.
The consultant needs to assess the building condition and requirements. And specify materials, sizes, and configurations for optimal performance.
The consultant needs to apply for a Building Permit if required.
The consultant needs to perform tests to verify system performance. And adjust settings and controls for optimal operation.
The consultant needs to provide detailed cost breakdown for each scope of work item.
It is intended that both buildings will be awarded to one (1) Prime Consultant; however, there will be a separate awarded MPA contract for each location.
