Records Information Management - Custom program, policies and procedures…

The Province is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons:
Oldenburger Consulting was initially engaged in early 2023 to conduct comprehensive assessments of the Records and Information Management (RIM) programs for the Tribunal Sector. During this engagement, Oldenburger Consulting developed customized RIM programs specifically tailored for the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal (BCHRT) and the Mental Health Review Board (MHRB).

In addition to these achievements, Oldenburger Consulting also collaborated with the Labour Relations Board (LRB) staff, successfully completing the discovery phase of the project. This phase included detailed assessments and the submission of proposals offering various options for customized Records Information Management Policies and Procedures, as well as Teams information management solutions.

Awarding this contract to Oldenburger Consulting ensures continuity and consistency with the work already completed for other Tribunals and the LRB. This approach not only maintains the integrity and coherence of the RIM programs but also optimizes cost-efficiency by leveraging the completed discovery phase. By continuing with Oldenburger Consulting, we avoid the redundancy and additional expenses associated with onboarding a new provider who would need to replicate the initial discovery and assessment processes.

The Province believes but cannot strictly prove that no other vendor is able or willing to complete this work within the required budget and timeline.
