Lake Hill Neighborhood Planning/Development Services Preliminary request for qualifications related to potential future RFP

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) includes, but may not be limited to, affordable housing developer partner qualifications related to a potential future Request for Proposals (RFP) for planning, design, development, financing, construction, management, operation and maintenance of deed-restricted affordable housing for the Lake Hill site in Summit County. The Lake Hill site sits between the Dillon Dam Rd. and I-70 and consists of approximately 45 acres. The County estimates that between 436 and 825 deed restricted residential units can be accommodated on the site depending on unit type and design. A childcare center, senior living facility, community center and green spaces are also contemplated for the site. The parcel is owned by Summit County and is located adjacent to the northeast limits of the Town of Frisco, in unincorporated Summit County.

+An optional pre-proposal meeting will be held January 7, 2025 at 3:00 PM. For those interested in attending the proposal meeting please email HousingDepartment@summitcountyco.gov and you will receive a meeting invite for an online meeting.

+Prospective applicants are welcome to make inquiries and ask questions concerning the RFQ to obtain clarification of the any requirements or schedule a site visit to the property. Direct all inquiries to Brandon.Howes@summitcountyco.gov by Wednesday, January 8th, 2025.

Qualifications must be submitted via email to HousingDepartment@summitcountyco.gov no later than 3:00 p.m. MST/MDT on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025.
