This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1240BH26Q0063 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Lava Lands Pump Replacement & Well Survey.
The Forest Service requires services to inspect, clean, rehabilitate, and restore the Lava Lands Visitor Center (LLVC) potable water well, a public drinking‑water supply source. The LLVC well is producing persistent sediment that is damaging plumbing fixtures, increasing reactive maintenance needs, and reducing system reliability. The existing 20 HP pump and associated equipment have surpassed typical service life and require replacement.
The Contractor shall perform a video well survey, conduct well cleaning and rehabilitation, diagnose sediment issues, and replace the well pump and any related components necessary to return the system to reliable operation. The objective is to restore clean, dependable potable water service, protect LLVC infrastructure, and reduce maintenance demands. All work must be performed by a licensed water‑supply well constructor in accordance with Oregon Health Authority regulations and Oregon Administrative Rules. The Contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work unless otherwise stated.
The applicable NAICS code is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is 45M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
Interested and qualified contractors are invited to submit a complete quote in accordance with all requirements outlined in the solicitation. Instructions to offerors, evaluation criteria, and applicable terms and conditions are provided in this notice and its attachments.
