NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Wayne will receive sealed bids for Wayne County – Fire Training Center Burn Building Renovations located at 7376 Route 31, Lyons, NY 14489.
Project Summary:
Wayne County is looking to award a Multiple Prime Contracts to provide improvements to the existing three-story Burn Building tower, including installation of a propane prop system on the First and Second Floors, and installation of cor-ten steel flame protection at the two existing rooms with prop locations. Work also includes installation of the prop system control panel, and exhaust fans and louvers in new masonry openings in the existing CMU exterior walls.
Two Prime Contracts will be awarded, as follows:

General Construction, including Electrical and Plumbing systems scope.

Propane-Fueled Fire Training Equipment, including installation of equipment.
Such sealed bids must be clearly identified and filed with the Clerk of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, 26 Church Street, Lyons, New York 14489, on or before 10:00 AM. prevailing time on Friday, November 22nd, 2024, at which time said bids, will be publicly opened and read.
There will be a “Bidders Tour” of the facility to answer any questions Bidders may have. “Bidders Tour” may be requested by appointment by contacting Scott Kolczynski, Deputy Superintendent of Public Works, at 315-946-5830. Bidders shall meet at the front door of the Fire Training Center Burn Building located at 1525 Nye Road, Lyons, New York 14489. The existing building is located to the west of the main Fire Training Center building behind the Public Safety Building.
ALL PRE-BID REQUEST FOR INFORMATION must be received no later than 3:00 PM on Friday, November 15th, 2024.
