Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Sales tax exempt. The Iowa DOT is seeking bids for: Post Driver/Puller Approved Brands Any manufacturers’ names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels. The references are not intended to be restrictive, and bids are invited on these and comparable brands or products of any manufacturer. Responders must include alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. Purchase Orders A purchase order will be issued after award. Pre-Bid Substitution Please note the required DOT form for this is located under the attachment tab. Submissions must be on the DOT required form & attach supporting manufacturer specs sheet. The form and attachments are to be emailed to tanner.thomsen@iowadot.us on or before the cut off date & time indicated below. Late submissions will not be accepted. Contract Award It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. Questions: Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Tanner Thomsen @ tanner.thomsen@iowadot.us (see bid contact information). Any questions related to this project are to be submitted to Tanner Thomsen in writing preferable through the IONwave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions) Before delivery the successful vendor may be required to schedule an inspection with Equipment Services at the vendor’s location. All items bid differently than requested in the specifications will require the review and approval of Equipment Services before they will be accepted. One contract will be awarded for all items. All items are tied.
