Description

The 7th Contracting Squadron, Dyess AFB, TX is seeking capabilities from businesses classified as Small, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) or Small Disadvantaged Business for a renewal survey of interested vendors and to establish an appropriate level of competition for an Airfield Paving contract.



Please note that this Sources Sought does not in any way obligate the Government to award a subsequent Contract. This Sources Sought is for market research and planning purposes to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive.



This acquisition is intended for competitive Small Business Set-Aside for Airfield Paving. It will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery – Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with an award being made to a Small Business. This acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 237310 – Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. Small business size standard is $36.5M.



The work requirements to be performed by the contractor consist of, but are not limited to, various repairs and/or complete reconstruction to various Airfield pavements at Dyess AFB, Texas. Work will be released to a successful contractor in work packages via individual task orders. Work may include but is not necessarily limited to: 1) concrete slab removal and replacement, 2) concrete spall repair 3) joint sealant replacement 4) airfield pavement markings 5) other pavement related work at Dyess AFB, Texas, in strict accordance with the associated plans and specifications.
